And the beat goes on…

Whoa! You’re not going to believe this, but I beat my own record of staying out late partying! The best was I had a great company! We had such a great time and still I realized I don’t have the same energy as I used to have like three years ago. I mean it, and I’m only 27 years old. My feet were killing me of how much I danced and stayed standing that night, with a total of more than seven hours straight! Yep, that’s true.

My friend Fabiane, AKA Faby and I arrived to the club called “Green Valley” a little after 12AM that January 23rd. That venue is big enough for 4 to 5 thousand people and this particular night had about 2.000 people. The venue is huge and very pretty. It’s in the middle of nowhere, but surrounded by nature. The atmosphere speaks by itself.

The music and the place were so contagious that made us stay to our very limit. Our limit wasn’t before 7:30AM! Not to mention that the party actually lasts until 10-11 in the morning. That’s right! Without a doubt, we, Brazilians, know how to party. The only reason why we left was because our bodies couldn’t take anymore (that’s the age taking huge part now).

The night had three DJ’s, starting with Mario Fischetti, the main act, Sebastian Ingrosso and the last one, Edoo Krause & Orchestra. When we got there, Mario was playing already, so we didn’t really follow it that much. The total opposite happened with Sebastian and Edoo Krause. The crowd and we went crazy! His remixes of well-known songs were thrilling with turn-over and loops, so good. It made everybody jump and dance non-stop. He played from 2:30AM ‘til 5AM. Faby and I laughed, danced and met friends. It was our special night because since I moved to the USA it was our first time together again and boy, we did celebrate that very well.

Edoo Krause began playing around 5:30 AM and he hadn’t finished until we left. His mix of electronic beats with a live orchestra made his performance one of a kind. Amazing!! It was something I’ve never seen before that came up as a perfect match. I don’t even have enough words to describe it; you had to be there to feel it.

In Brazil, I’m down to the second most southeastern state of the country, called “Santa Catarina”, a place where the electronic music rules. Over there, you can find at least three of the best clubs to play electronic music in the world. That’s why so many important names in the scene, like Tïesto, Paul Oakenfold and Kaskade, among others, goes to Brazil to perform. With me, it couldn’t be different. I am a huge fan of the rhythm; it’s just something that makes me want to dance right away when the music starts to play. Definitely, one of my favorite styles.

Well, back to the club, it was morning already and both of our feet stuck in 4.5 inches of high heels were saying “that’s enough”, so Faby and I decided to leave, but the fun didn’t stop there. On our way back, we stopped at a local bakery to have breakfast…barefoot!! Our shoes weren’t an option anymore. People were staring at us, but we didn’t really care, in fact, we were making fun of ourselves laughing hysterically. With that, we got home around 9:30AM, hitting the bed at 10. As I said before, we, Brazilians, know how to party!!
